History of time

Since time immemorial, men have turned their gaze to the stars to capture the passage of time. From the Babylonians to Anaximander, Indian cosmology, Arab discoveries, Newton and Galileo, it was through the display of galaxies and the light of stars that these celestial watchmakers learned to measure the passage of days and nights, hours and minutes.

Symbols and sacred geometry

This new philosophy of time adorns the brand’s new emblem. The initials of the founder are entwined in a visual composition where several symbols merge: the earth, the phases of the moon, an hourglass, the infinity symbol and the lucky number 8. This emblem embodies the values of continuity specific to the House and the link revealed between the earthly and the celestial since the beginning of time.

A new philosophy of time

Symbolised by the sign of the stars, an AUGUSTE REYMOND watch must be the watch of a lifetime. It is an invitation to live a new philosophy of time, that of the third millennium: of intimacy, individuality, and also of belonging to a cosmic system that encompasses each being and gives meaning to their life journey.
